Reasonable Adjustments

WorkRite’s Reasonable Adjustment Service is designed to help employers overcome problems caused by reported concerns, frequent or prolonged staff absence due to ill health. Employers are duty bound or obliged to make ‘reasonable adjustments’ to help staff overcome any barriers in the workplace. Often these reasonable adjustments cost nothing – it can be a tweak to a work routine or raising a monitor screen – this can sometimes be enough to solve severe neck pain.

Staff absence costs the UK economy millions of pounds every year – Musculoskeletal problems are one of the largest contributing factors to staff absence.

Employers can and do spend huge amounts of money commissioning legal or specialist occupational health advice – often these services are not cohesive and a solution is not always guaranteed. WorkRite’s service follows a path – following a fixed price telephone assessment you will receive a report detailing the ‘reasonable adjustments’ that need to be considered or highlighting any remedial action that needs to be taken.
